Circuit Debugging

Team Rules:

1. The team should have maximum of 2 members.
2. Spot Registration will be done on the day of the symposium.

Event Details:

1. The event has the written test of the technical questions.
2. Practical Circuit debugging.

Decision:

Judges Decision Will be declared as final.

RoBo Race

RULES OF ROBO RACE

Eligibility:

All undergraduate students are eligible to participate.

Team:

 The team can consist of maximum three students.

Machine Specification:

1. The machine should fit within a box of dimensions(300*300*300)mm at the start of the game.
2. The machine should not weight  more than 3KG.
3. Both wireless and wired machines are allowed
4. Use of readymade toy is not allowed ,but one can use the readymade circuits.
5. Chemicals ,compressed gases and rockets,fuels,combustion power methods,etc. are strictly prohibited. However commercial battries like dry cells and lead acid are allowed to use.

GENERAL RULES :

Power Supply:

Participants will be allowed to use maximum onboard 12v DC power. Use of heavy equipment like compressors is banned.

Point system:

Based on abstract and track.

Technical Quiz

Rules:

1st Round:

• Written test for each team,20 objective questions, 1 mark each.

• Total Time is 10 minutes.

• No Negative marking.

• Eight Teams will be selected.

Semifinal:

Identifying The Circuit Symbols.
Maximum finders will go for next round.

Five teams will be selected:

Final Round:

1. Questions will be displayed on the projector and buzzers will be given, First buzzer will go for answer and team giving maximum answers are winners.

Topics Should Be Selected For paper presentation:

2. High Voltage Engineering
3. Power Quality
4. Special Electrical Machines
5. Recent Trends In Electrical Field

Guidance:

1. Two members at max per team
2. 10 min will be given for a team to present their paper (8 min presentation and 2 min queries)
3. The Abstract (Not Exceeding 250 Words) & The Paper ( Not Exceeding 3 Pages ) should be sent to the email id amberz2k12@gmail.com in IEEE Format before 17/08/2012.
4. Those who are selected will be sent an confirmation to their respective E-mail id.
5. The Selected Contestant Should Bring Two Hard Copies & Two Soft Copies (In CD & PenDrive)  On The Day of Presentation.
6. Canditates must posses ID & In Proper Dress Code.
